The title roughly translates to "Castles in Lamone's valley" and it's a full reportage on the status of the fortresses in Lamone's valley and some nearby rivers. The author, Achille Lega, was the owner of one of these fortresses. It's a very interesting book, even because it's full of historical details.

The cherry on top is, for sure, the presence of the maps of the old fortresses so you can understand where the entrances were and so on.
