This book is of the same kind as Il Popolo di Ridracoli" but it talks about another nearby location, Pietrapazza. If you like this kind of dissertations this one is pure gold: there are a lot of informations about the single houses that were part of this parish, many old maps and all the data about the populations in the old times.
The other insteresting side of books like this is, at least for me, the incredible amount of informations that I can use in future exploration. All the houses are abandoned nowadays of course, but I still love to stroll around and find them
This for example is Case San Giavolo, one of the many abandoned places of a lost time. Nowadays it stand silent amongst the trees, nobody even knowing about its existence. But not earlier than 70 years ago it was a place where people lived, worked and dreamt. I don't know why, I just feel attached to this kind of places.
